About the Role
Te Poutama Arawhiti is looking for a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Tauranga Hospital in the Bay of Plenty. This is a designated senior nurse position.
We are a 40-bed inpatient ward consisting of an Acute Stroke service, Rehabilitation and Specialist Health Services for Older People (SHSOP). Our service provides specialist health services for adults who are rehabilitating for a variety of reasons.
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator works collaboratively and alongside each of the specialist team members to support daily ward activity.
About the Team/Service/ Location
Our team in Te Poutama Arawhiti includes an 8-bed Acute Stroke Unit and a 31-bed ward offering rehabilitation and specialised health services for older people. We work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment, striving to provide the highest quality rehabilitation services and maximising each patient's functional recovery. Our team values teamwork, compassion, and innovation in delivering exceptional care.
About you
Applicants will have proven leadership skills and experience in acute stroke nursing and/or rehabilitation and older people's health.

- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Flexibility to work all shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays) with a positive and adaptable approach.
