About the Role
As a House Officer or Senior House Officer, you will provide essential medical care in a variety of specialties, under the guidance of senior clinicians. You will work as part of a dedicated team, contributing to patient care in a teaching hospital setting. This is an opportunity to develop your clinical skills in a supportive environment while making a difference in the community.

Our team of House Officers and Senior House Officers is integral to the care provided to our diverse patient population in Tauranga Hospital. We are part of Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand, Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty, one of the region's largest employers with over 4,000 staff. About you

As a House Officer or Senior House Officer, you will have a medical degree (MBChB or equivalent) and strong clinical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team. You will be committed to providing compassionate patient care and demonstrate an awareness of Māori health issues and equity in healthcare. Additionally, you will need to be adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality healthcare in the region.
