The opportunity | Te Whiwhinga mahi
We are interested to hear from Registered Nurses who are looking for new opportunities in the field of Mental Health. Our Whakatāne Adult Inpatient Mental Health Unit has casual positions available.
The Adult Mental Health Inpatient Unit consists of 18 Registered Nurses, seven Health Care Assistants, one Occupational Therapy Assistant and one TPK Māori Mental Health Worker.
Working in the Inpatient Team, you will be part of our multidisciplinary team, committed to delivering high quality care to our consumer group and be part of continuous improvement.
Mental Health Scope of Practice is required.
About you | Ko wai koe
Our successful candidate will:
- Have a minimum of 1 years' experience of working with this client group
- Be experienced in working in an acute mental health unit
- Preferably have a post graduate qualification
- Have excellent communication and clinical skills
- Be available for shift work
