Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand, Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is spread across a vast geographical area and centred across two hospitals based in Tauranga and Whakatāne.  We serve a population of approximately 259,000 for the major population centres of Tauranga, Katikati, Te Puke, Whakatāne, Kawerau and Ōpōtiki.  Te Whatu Ora Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is one of the Bay of Plenty's largest employers with over 4000 staff.

He kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role

Te Poutama Arawhiti is looking for Health Care Assistants (HCA) to join our team in Acute stroke unit, Rehabilitation, and Specialist Health Services for Older people. 

With a strong focus on rehabilitation therapy, this role requires good communication skills and a team focus. You will work under the direction of the registered nursing team and alongside the many disciplines that make up our service to support our patients to return to the community.  This is an excellent unit to develop a broad range of skills and experience for career progression and advancement.

Salary range for this position is $46,182 to $53,803
