He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role

We are looking to recruit a dynamic and motivated senior nurse to join our established ACNM Team here in the Emergency Department at Tauranga Hospital. This is a permanent part-time role working up to 32 hours per week Monday to Sunday.

Our ACNM team has responsibility to encourage, support, develop and coach the Emergency Department nursing team, provide leadership and contribute to the day to day control of the department. You will work alongside the Clinical Nurse Manager to take forward organisational objectives and ensure departmental standards are met.

There is a significant commitment to working after hours, weekends and holidays.

We are looking for a individual who has the below:

• A positive and can-do attitude
• Significant clinical experience in Emergency Care Nursing
• Evidence of development and ongoing maintenance of professional portfolio, preferably at expert level
• Previous or current leadership role/experience?
• Enthusiasm to promote gold standard care and our organisational CARE values
