He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role

We are seeking Registered Nurses to join our enthusiastic, dedicated team on Ward 3B at Tauranga Hospital. There are multiple positions available, working up to 0.8 FTE – 32 hours per week. Please state in your cover letter how many hours you wish to be considered for. 

Ward 3B is a 23-bed ward where you will be responsible for the care of patients undergoing elective and acute surgery. Our ward offers high level care to clients undergoing predominantly vascular and ENT surgery and we also provide care to clients undergoing general surgical procedures. 

The positions have a requirement to work rostered shifts including morning afternoon and night shifts.

Our preferred applicants require broad knowledge, skills, and experience in the care of surgical patients however there is an opportunity to develop surgical nursing skills within our supportive team.
