He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role

We have a permanent full-time position for experienced Dental Assistant to join our Western Bay team in 2023. The Dental Assistant supports the Dental/Oral Health Therapist in providing high quality dental services for children in the Bay of Plenty.

The role includes meet and greet, chairside assistance, infection prevention and control, administration duties with personal and professional development opportunities.

You will be fully supported initially through an orientation programme as you begin in the role.

The ideal candidate will:

• have previous experience working in a dental environment
• demonstrate an understanding and commitment to culturally safe practices
• participate and comply with health and safety in the workplace
• hold a minimum of a restricted Driver Licence
• be able to work as part of a team setting
