He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role

The security service is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, patients and visitors.  

We are seeking permanent part-time Security Officers, working 24 hours per week, to join our tight knit and highly regarded security team at Tauranga Hospital. 

He Korero mōu - About You

  • Security experience
  • Customer service experience
  • High level of personal presentation
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • A genuine desire to help people and work in a hospital setting
  • Able to pass a Health and Police check
  • Hold a clean and full NZ driver's license
  • Able to make sound decisions when under pressure
  • Commitment to work rostered shifts (i.e. day, afternoon and night)
  • Work as part of a team
  • Physically fit
