The opportunity | Te Whiwhinga mahi

A critical role in the Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) Team, the People & Culture Business Partner position is one of our most influential functions, supporting our People Leaders to run effective departments and services. As part of this role, you will work closely within a dedicated business portfolio in a hands on, operational HR role that will work as a trusted advisor on day-to-day HR issues and input into our HR strategy and practices that enhance and develop the ability to deliver sound HR support to our managers.

This role is integral in supporting and embedding a number of HR initiatives and supporting change management across the business units. You'll drive positive change throughout all levels of the business by ensuring that HR strategies are aligned with the business objectives of the company. You will champion HR best practices to support business objectives to drive business sustainability and continuity.

We are seeking applications from:

  • Seasoned HR professionals with a minimum of five years' advisory experience and proven ability to work within large-scale organisations and complex HR environments. Exposure to working with Unions is preferred
  • You will have good working knowledge across all areas of HR, with special emphasis on Employment Relations and your strong communication skills will allow you to form solid relationships across all levels of the business.
  • You will have demonstrated ability in managing and supporting the delivery of HR policies and procedures, as well be able to drive and manage a range of projects.
  • The ability to influence and constructively challenge others in a professional manner.
