Te Whatu Ora Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is one of the Bay of Plenty's largest employers with over 4000 staff.
He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role
We are looking for a flexible and enthusiastic Enrolled Nurse for a permanent 0.8 FTE position working 8 days a fortnight on rostered rotating shifts, based at Tauranga Hospital. The Orthopaedic Ward provides care to elective and acute care orthopaedic patients, and we also provide care to a number of medical patients.
Ideally, you will have the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure team nursing environment, which requires good organisational, communication and computer skills and the ability to demonstrate safe clinical practice for our 46-bed ward. You must be comfortable working under the direction and delegation of the Registered Nurse and alongside Health Care Assistants, to ensure evidence based clinical care is provided.

You will be committed to providing safe, effective nursing care and enjoy being part of a team. You may be an experienced Enrolled Nurse or a newly graduated Enrolled Nurse who can be supported through the Enrolled Nurse Support Into Practice programme (ENSIPP).

As per the Nursing NZNO MECA, the salary range for this position is $61,146 - $73,609 pro-rata (Steps 1 - 5)
