He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role
Te Whatu Ora Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty currently has a 12 month fixed term position available for a new graduate Oral Health Therapist to join our Western Bay team, commencing January 2024.
The position available is for a 2023 graduate who will be applying for Dental Council NZ registration on graduation only. Hours to be worked is 40 hours per week (1.0 FTE).
We are committed to Māori Health equity and increasing Māori and Pasifika participation in our workforce and our patient group in the Western Bay of plenty is 0 – 13 years of age. You will join a team of Dental/Oral Health Therapists, Therapists/Dental Assistants, Patient Liaison and Oral Health Promotion to deliver care to our patient group.
Registration and APC will be fully refunded and assistance with relocation is available to the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will:
- Have pending 2023 registration and APC on graduation with DCNZ
- Demonstrate an understanding and commitment to culturally safe practices
- Participate and comply with Health & Safety in the workplace
- A minimum Restricted Drivers Licence
