Mō te tūranga - About the role
A typical day in Radiology is fun, busy, and varied providing acute inpatient and outpatient care.There is lots of opportunity to upskill and develop your practitioner skills in this department, which include learning specialty IV cannulation, PICC insertion and providing care and implementation of complex and varied interventional procedures.
The department hours are 07:30- 21:00 Monday through to Friday so you can enjoy your weekends! We are seeking individuals who are available to work 0.7 FTE and higher.

The Radiology nursing staff work in multiple modalities within Radiology including CT, ultrasound and interventional fluoroscopy where their role is to support patients and work alongside the Radiologist in interventional and diagnostic procedures and be apart of the Nurse led PICC service.
This hands-on role requires you to work in a team with Radiologists and MRT's (Radiographers) providing opportunities to learn and share practitioner knowledge whilst working as part of an awesome team who really care for one another.

To be successful in this position, you will need to be:

- Flexible
The ideal candidate will have 2 years or more nursing experience in an acute care environment with additional background in Radiology nursing viewed as a bonus but not essential.
