He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role
We have roles available for capable pharmacists to provide a clinical pharmacy service to our patients across both hospitals. The roles are predominantly based in Tauranga, serving a large population in a rapidly growing city. One or two days per week, you would work in Whakatane hospital, which is our smaller hospital with a bit heart, serving a diverse regional population. It is the best of both worlds.
Full time positions are available, but this could be negotiated to part time work to ensure that the position works for you.
Our experienced clinical team are managing a growing service. We can support your development across multiple aspects of hospital pharmacy practice. Current Pharmacy Interns are welcome to apply. Alternatively, we could accommodate a specialist pharmacist or pharmacist prescriber if you have the right experience.
The applicant must be a team player, with a passion for clinical pharmacy and have excellent communication skills. All pharmacists at Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty work with multi-disciplinary teams as part of their medicines management roles.
He korero mōu - About You
The successful applicant will be patient focused, have excellent communication skills and be willing to share their knowledge. Participation in on-call and weekend roster is an expectation. You must be registered or be able to register with the Pharmacy Council of NZ.
