Nau mai! We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at Hauora a Toi and live in the beautiful Bay of Plenty.
This position is casual, casual being as and when required.
You will be based in Tauranga, with the potential opportunity to provide cover to our colleagues based in Whakatane.
He Korero mōu - About You
The position would suit a clinician with experience in the health sector working with adults or paediatrics. Previous clinical dysphagia training would be advantageous. You will work within a close team who provide speech language therapy services to both inpatients and outpatients in clinic and community settings. You will need a sound knowledge of the use of informal and formal assessment tools, excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work well within a team to achieve patient and whānau focused goals and a focus on evidence-based practice. Equity in support for Māori is a priority.
