Ngā kawenga | About the role
From educational and therapeutic programmes to internal employment opportunities, your proactive approach to coordinating activities will ensure completion in a timely manner in line with the people in our care's offender plans. Through the monitoring of waitlists and timely management of referrals, your flexibility to respond to the ever changing needs of those in our care will be paramount to their success and yours.
Updating and maintaining data in key systems is a core part of this position as will liaising with key departments to ensure opportunities are maximised and offender plans are managed effectively.
He kōrero mōu | About you
Systems savvy, you are confident across the MS Office Suite including Excel with sound experience using various information systems and databases. It will be your responsibility to update and maintain data, liaising with Coordinators and other key staff to arrange activities and maintain programmes as well as referrals.
This will be a busy role and some of the key skills we are seeking are:
- Communicating effectively both in writing and verbally
- Prioritising and managing your time to meet deadlines and complete tasks on time
- Understanding and interpreting legislation and procedures
- Working autonomously and indepenantly as is needed
- Collaborating with others and contributing as a team player
- Building and maintaining relationships with key departments/agencies/Coordinators
Utu ā-tau | Salary
The salary for this role is $75,316 pro rata and the appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
