About the Opportunity

As part of our national Digital Services team, based in our Timaru offices, you'll support national digital health systems that operate 24/7. During usual business hours you will continue in our chosen technical field (e.g. networks or services). After-hours you will potentially leverage a broader set of skills and experience to provide on-site capability.

You'll work collaboratively with others to:

• Support and maintain critical digital systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents in a 24/7 environment
• Contribute across network, desktop, application, and infrastructure support as needed
• Support projects, change activities, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Help build and sustain a resilient, high-performing digital service

About You

We're keen to hear from IT professionals who:

• Have experience across network, desktop, application, infrastructure, or technical support environments
• Enjoy multitasking and working across a range of technologies
• Are adaptable, curious, and willing to learn new skills
• Take pride in delivering reliable, high-quality support in a 24/7 operational team
• Work well in a collaborative, team-based environment
• Communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Bring a proactive, solutions-focused mindset

You'll also bring:

• 3+ years' experience in IT operations or technical support roles
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• A relevant IT qualification or equivalent experience
• An understanding of, and commitment to applying, Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles
