About the Role
As a Billing Coordinator, you'll be responsible for supporting the billing and revenue management functions within the Canterbury Finance team. You'll play a key role in ensuring invoices, credit notes, pricing schedules, and revenue information are accurately maintained, helping Health New Zealand maximise revenue recovery for services delivered.
This is a varied and detail-oriented role where you'll process monthly invoices and credit notes, maintain billing databases and pricing catalogues, coordinate contract renewals, and support customer and supplier account maintenance. You'll work closely with service leads, finance colleagues, and external customers to resolve queries, maintain accurate records, and ensure billing information remains up to date. No two days are the same, and your ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy will be critical to your success.

About you
As an organised and customer-focused administrator, you'll bring strong attention to detail, financial administration experience, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- At least three years' experience in business administration, finance administration, or a similar role within a medium or large organisation.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, with the ability to work confidently with data and reporting information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organisational capability.
- Experience with billing, revenue processing, or financial systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP systems would be advantageous.
