Job Description

Are you looking for an opportunity to work in a dynamic and stunning environment, and would like to put your skills and experience to use, helping lead a team delivering a truly diverse work plan for visitor and historic assets in the Fiordland area?


We are looking for someone to supervise our permanent field maintenance team here in Te Anau, which carries out a range of work including maintenance and construction of tracks, huts, structures, campsites and historic sites throughout Fiordland.


We are after someone who is able to lead, motivate and provide direction for a team of staff.  Ideally the successful applicant would have a broad range of practical skills associated with conservation facilities maintenance.  They will have the knowledge and experience to be able to pass these skills on, and continue to grow the capability of the team they lead.


Eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory, including a valid work visa covering the whole period of employment if applying internationally.
