We have a 12 month fixed term opportunity available for a Recruiter to join us in Wellington or Christchurch. You'll join our busy internal recruitment team based across the country - Hamilton, Tauranga, Wellington, New Plymouth, Christchurch and Invercargill.

He angitūtanga | About the role
Our Recruitment Advisors manage end to end recruitment supporting leaders with recruitment advertising, sourcing and best practice advice. The role is fast paced and varied supporting Senior Recruitment Advisors and delivering recruitment support to hiring managers across operational, technical and corporate disciplines.
Day to day you will prepare recruitment advertising, candidate screening, interview preparation and candidate care. You'll connect with people all over Aotearoa and learn about our conservation mahi. This is a people focussed role where you will be representing Te Papa Atawhai with internal and external candidates and working collaboratively with your colleagues and business stakeholders to ensure processes are efficient and enable great talent outcomes.

You will be professional and energetic with proven experience in stakeholder and candidate management, ideally in-house. Experience managing end to end recruitment and providing a high level of candidate care would be ideal for this role. You will be able to hit the ground running and adept at balancing a varied and demanding workload, providing hands on support to your hiring managers and recruitment colleagues.
- Experienced with HR or Recruitment systems with strong computer skills
- Great time management and the ability to prioritise and juggle competing tasks
- Great communication and a commitment to delivering a high level of candidate care and customer service
- Decisive and action orientated you can thrive under pressure and enjoy a fast paced role
- A passion for Te Papa Atawhai's Kaupapa is essential as well as understanding of Māori Tikanga and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
