HR Administrator

Fixed-Term 6 Months


The Ministry of Education's People and Capability team is transforming with the implementation of a new operating model.  As such, we are looking for the best talent in New Zealand to be part of our journey.


The HR Administrator sits within the HR Operations team and is part of a team of Assistant HR Advisors who are the first point of contact for all HR customers. The HR Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support within the MyHR services team to the Ministry via the self-service portal or the centralised phone line, incorporating transactional HR services and support such as the management of information, recruitment advice and security checking. 


You will have a strong administrative background and ideally have an interest in HR. You will have a strong customer focus and be committed to continuously improve yourself and the role.


Be prepared to come and display your fresh thinking, passion for delivering a customer focused HR service and you will need to also bring a focus on outcomes and making things happen.
