Te Kahu Tōī, Intensive Wraparound Service

Permanent position available Wellington & Taranaki, Whanganui, Manawatu

Aotearoa/New Zealand

 

Te Kahu Tōī, The Intensive Wraparound Service is a service that provides comprehensive, evidence based interventions to support students with challenging behaviour, socio-emotional difficulties and complex learning needs across a range of contexts. 

If you are an experienced psychologist with a holistic approach to care then we would love to hear from you.  You will work in a small team environment where we believe in practicing what we preach:  we support you to support our very complex families and children. 

The Te Kahu Toi team works with children/young people, parents/caregivers and family/whānau, schools and other agencies to provide comprehensive ecological wraparound plans for the young person to achieve success at home and in their local community.  For information about the Intensive Wraparound Service please refer to http://www.education.govt.nz/school/student-support/special-education/intensive-wraparound-service-iws/

This position will be based in the Taranaki Office.  You will be required to travel to provide service throughout the Education Regions.
