The Training Services team provides training delivery and development for various audiences in a range of ICT and non ICT, topics, processes and applications. 


About this role

The Training Content Developer is responsible for the design, development and release of high quality learning outputs.

This is a varied role that requires expert use of internally approved applications and resources to develop and release training content. 

The role provides advice to the Training Services Manager on learning and development initiatives.


About you

To be successful in the role, you'll be working collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders. We'll also count on you to shape, frame and design our process and thinking using a diverse and inclusive approach.


You will be:

  • an experienced user of Articulate Storyline 3
  • an experienced user of Camtasia Studio
  • an experienced user of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, in particular Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere Pro


You will have:

  • a minimum of 2 years' experience working within an in-house creative department or other creative team environment
  • demonstrated portfolio of work
  • experience in developing infographics
  • experience in developing an organisation's brand and visual identity to maintain consistency and integrity
  • instructional, analytical, and creativity skills to present material in an engaging and informative manner


You will also offer:

  • relevant experience and/or qualification(s) in the production of video, screencasts and other multi-media
  • experience in photo re-touching and image development skills
  • relevant experience and/or qualification(s) in training delivery and facilitation
  • relevant experience and/or qualification(s) in writing support and user guides
  • demonstrated knowledge and experience with the same or similar training management system
  • confident pronunciation of Te Reo Maori
  • knowledge/experience of the New Zealand Education Sector
  • knowledge/experience of internal Ministry of Education processes
  • the ability to understand and apply the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and tangatawhenuatanga.
