About our group

The Web and Applications Services team provides Business Analysis, Development, and Testing services for. over 60 priority business applications.

About the role

We have some exciting opportunities for. an experienced Lead Business Analyst with a business lens. This is a permanent role that sits within the Application Delivery Funding team which is part of a much wider ICT capability.  The role will reside with the business group to provide work planning and management over the multiple work streams covering a number of business groups. Note, this role has no direct reports and will not be leading people, rather work-streams.

About you

As the ideal candidate you will need to have a minimum of 4-5 years' experience as a Senior. Business Analyst and bring a range of skills and experience in the following areas:

  • Experience and knowledge with Agile delivery methodologies Scrum, Kanban, LEAN is a must have for. our current teams.
  • Experience in planning and managing the work across multiple BAU business groups, ensures leads are assigned and managing the work and ensuring the key stakeholders are involved.
  • Success in gathering and analysing business requirements across different user groups, and provide advice on business solutions.
  • Manages and is the secretariat for. the Working Group (for. changes) and may look to establish a wider programme meeting of all of the different business groups work streams to ensure a more efficient use of time and resources. 
  • Own the business processes to ensure they are completed and updated and regularly reviewed and maintained.
  • You will be experienced in analysing complex issues and developing effective options for. action.
  • Excellent relationship, communication and writing skills.
