At Te Tāhuhu o te Mātauranga | Ministry of Education, we work to provide services and support nationally, regionally and locally to the education sector, and in some cases, directly to ākonga and whānau.

About us
Te Puna Hanganga, Matihiko | Infrastructure & Digital - Te Tāhuhu o te Mātauranga | Ministry of Education, leads inclusive, accessible and integrated national, digital and physical infrastructure and transport services to the education system.
You will join our ICT Strategy, Planning & Architecture team. We provide ICT advice, support and solutions across the Ministry of Education. We also cover a wide array of technologies and business domains working with many areas of the Ministry. We also collaborate across government and the Education Sector as a whole. There is always something interesting going on!

As an Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for developing technology strategy and architecture for the New Zealand Education System.
Are you someone who can bring:
- Extensive experience in Application Architecture, in particular a Senior / Lead Architect capacity
- Prior experience leading technology strategies whilst balancing business and technology requirements
- Highly developed verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.
- Capacity to work under pressure to ensure that critical timeframes are met
- Excellent leadership skills; you will be able to influence, persuade as well as resolve conflicts
- The ability to think strategically and conceptualize complex ideas.
- Be an excellent team player who is inclusive, collaborative, supportive and a great mentor.
- Ability to demonstrate your motivations to work in an environment that is committed to benefit our education system. This includes embracing our unique and diverse society which welcomes different abilities, religious beliefs, ethnic groups, income levels and ideas about teaching and learning.
