About our group and team
Our Waikato Regional Team work closely with the Early Childhood and Schooling sectors, providers, and communities to provide support, expertise and resources to help children and young people reach their full potential. Our Business Support Team are the face of the Ministry of Education in the Waikato Region. We deliver efficient and effective support services that enable our Waikato Regional Team to do their best work every day.
About this role
Reporting to the Business Support Manager and as part of the Business Support Team, you will never have two days that are the same.
Use your exceptional administration and customer service skills to support our Waikato Region Team to make a real difference in children and young people's lives.
Bring your positive and collaborative skills to enrich our Business Support Team
Bring your desire to learn and challenge the status quo to enhance our support services
Become one of our Finance subject matter experts.
To be considered for this role you must have:
- Administration and reception experience
- A collaborative and positive team approach
- Excellent customer service skills
- A desire to learn and challenge the status quo
- The ability to understand and apply the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and tangatawhenuatanga.
- Proven time management skills
- Great communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Professional telephone manner
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Suite skills
- A full New Zealand driver licence
