Mō tēnei tūranga | About this role

Based in Wellington (but not limited to), this role is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and experienced Test Analyst to join our team. 

Your role will include:

  • Performing testing activities across different applications and platforms including AWS, Salesforce, SharePoint, M365
  • Working alongside the Manager- Testing Services, Team Leaders, Developers, Testers, Business Analysts, and the wider business to deliver fit-for-purpose software.

The salary band for this role is $77,966 - $95,292 depending on skills, experience and relativity.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:

  • Prior experience as a Tester, ideally within a commercial environment 
  • Experience in creating fully manual and automated testing activities, planning, test scripting and reporting.
  • A keen interest in working in a multi-platform environment 
  • A good command of SQL
  • Experience in BI/data warehousing and data migration testing
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written particularly business writing and reporting, ensuring your communication is always clear and concise
  • The ability to build strong relationships
  • An inclusive, collaborative and supportive attitude

You will join the Ministry's Testing Services team, which is part of our wider Web and Applications Services group. This is a dynamic team responsible for delivering functional and non-functional testing for everything from maintenance and enhancements to defect fixes and large-scale projects.
