Mō tēnei tūranga | About this role
You will be part of a collaborative team providing day to day operational, financial and administrative support across the Capital Works delivery team who are spread across the central North Island. This includes the coordination and analysis of data, ensuring its quality and key deadlines are met. The role is supporting a Auckland based professional property delivery team who are managing the delivery of multiple Capital works projects

Salary range: $59,001 - $72,112 per annum + 3% kiwi saver. The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects individual skills and experience.

Mōhou ake | About you
You will be someone who is both great with people and time management. A positive and can do attitude is a must. As this is an autonomous role the skill to encourage people to contribute in a timely manner will be key to your ability to meet regular and ad hoc deadlines. Your flair for organisation sees you keeping dependable records of progress, approvals and other relevant documentation.
Your desire to contribute to business improvements, combined with your initiative, will also see you take collaborative action to improve reporting processes as necessary.
You will also demonstrate:
- Previous experience providing administrative/ coordination support to a busy team
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines effectively
- Advanced skills and knowledge of the Microsoft Suite.
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- A track record of working effectively in a virtual team as a self-directed and proactive team player
Mātau rōpū ake | About our ministry, group, and team
At Te Tāhuhu o te Mātauranga, we work to provide services and support nationally, regionally and locally to the education sector, and in some cases, directly to ākonga and whanau. To better deliver on this, we are currently undergoing an organisational design change. The transition phase to improve the way we deliver our purpose will be complete in 2023.
