Māori Pathways – Hawkes Bay is one of three key trial areas that are part of a four-year programme which has been co-designed with whānau, hapū, iwi Māori: external organisations and individuals independent of Ara Poutama Aotearoa.
The programme represents an opportunity to shape a new way of working with culturally grounded solutions and innovations that supports our Hōkai Rangi strategy, whilst also creating a new approach toward the evolving changes taking place within the criminal justice system. By working collaboratively with community agencies, Hawkes Bay Māori Pathways strives to find new and innovative ways to achieve better outcomes for Māori, whānau and their communities.
