About the Role
The primary purpose of the role:
- To provide safe and clinically effective assessment, intervention and advice to staff who have sustained a work-related injury, within the Occupational Health setting.
- To develop and maintain a gradual process reduction programme including advisory and deliveries of ergonomic assistance for staff.
About you
As the Physiotherapist, you will play a key role in keeping Health NZ Hawkes Bay's workforce healthy, productive, and pain-free. We are seeking a passionate physiotherapist to provide exceptional musculoskeletal rehabilitation, champion workplace wellness, and drive injury prevention initiatives.
This is a highly autonomous role where you will be trusted to manage your caseload while working closely with the wider, dynamic Occupational Health team.
We are looking for someone who relates well to people, is able to build rapport and communicates in a compassionate manner. You will enjoy having constructive and effective relationships with the ability to use diplomacy and tact.
You are a qualified physiotherapist with a minimum of 5 years working in the musculoskeletal field. You do not need to have prior experience in Occupational Health but are excited about the opportunity to branch into this specialty.
