Intelligence Leader, Outcomes Information and Knowledge

Our new organisation is taking a big step forward, with new appointments to be made into the senior leadership team of the newly formed Information and Intelligence Services group (IIS).

This role is responsible for leading IR's information and knowledge management strategies and practices to enable us to deliver better customer outcomes. Specifically the role is responsible for the strategic development of IKM practices, tools and capabilities.  The role is also responsible for planning, prioritisation and capability deployment to support business group requirements of IR. This includes leading our Information & Knowledge Management strategy, and leading our Enterprise Content Management approach.

Working closely with the other Information and Intelligence leaders this role acts as a steward of IR's information and knowledge management, ensuring IR operates within its operational policies, and the legislative framework. You will be responsible for continually growing the professional development of IIS.

You will be recognised as an authority or a thought leader in enterprise information and knowledge management, understanding the value proposition of this role within the broader system. You will have significant experience of information and knowledge management strategy, governance or systems at an organisational level, including ensuring legislative compliance and ideally in establishing, implementing or managing formal information sharing agreements.

This is a strategic role, with a key responsibility to build the practices, behaviours, culture and enabling capabilities that will enable IR to become a knowledge-based organisation.

As such your experience will include:

  • Technical stewardship and accountability for leading 'best practice' IKM standards in a large and complex organisation.
  • Designing and delivering IKM services to support organisational strategy in a large and complex organisation.
  •  Leading a shift to knowledge based working in a large and complex organisation.
  • Development and delivery of integrated business planning (including a range of planning and performance methodologies and techniques) in a large and complex organisation.
