-       12 month Fixed Term and/or Secondment opportunity

 

Our Stakeholder Relations business unit is looking for a skilled PA / Team Administrator.

 

Up for offer is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a unique team. From formatting documents to assisting the leadership team in a range of initiatives, your days will be filled with a wide variety of tasks. No job is too big or too small for you.  

 

Inland Revenue's Stakeholder Relations business unit is tasked with building a collaborative approach to gathering fact-based information to influence organisational planning and decision-making.  Information is collected from a range of stakeholder interactions, including the Minister of Revenue and Māori and diverse communities.

 

In this busy job there's no such thing as a ‘typical' day but you can expect to:

 

  • Provide secretarial, business and administrative support to the Director, 3 Managers and staff based in Wellington and Hamilton
  • Book international and domestic travel
  • Email management
  • Arrange meetings and appointments
  • Attend meetings and take minutes
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels via emails and telephone calls
  • Daily use of the Microsoft Office package
  • Be involved in ad hoc project work
  • Organise team events and away days
  • Arrange national and international Course and Conference bookings

 

 

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

 

  • Confidence when liaising with internal and external stakeholders at all levels across the organisation
  • The ability to be flexible, adaptable and able to work proactively using your own initiative
  • Excellent IT skills i.e. MS office suite
  • A great sense of humour and be a team player
