Inland Revenue (IR) collects most of the government revenue that funds core services that we use every day, such as hospitals, schools and national parks. We also administer a number of social support programmes, like Working for Families and KiwiSaver.
We're also delivering a multi-year business transformation programme to modernise the tax system, to make it simpler and faster for people and business to pay their taxes and receive any entitlements. We have recruited an exceptional IT management team to meet Inland Revenue's Business Transformation goals. Being a member of this team offers the successful applicant a unique opportunity to directly contribute to the performance and direction of Inland Revenue's business.
The Compliance and Identity team support IR Identity and Access Management and Compliance business systems where there is ever increasing pressure to comply with regulatory mandates, ensure privacy for confidential information and keep IT systems secure.
About the role
The Business Platform Manager, Compliance and Identity ensures that a strong and integrated Identity and Access Management (IAM) infrastructure is provided that protects users, systems, applications, data and processes from unauthorised use or access. We are looking for someone who has a strong technical understanding and can lead a team during a period of change. The team manage the current solution and the new solution being delivered through our transformation programme ensuring that we have an integrated and secure IAMS platform that seamlessly combines user management, access control and identity governance.
