Job Description

  • Are you an experienced internal communications practitioner?
  • This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative team in a dynamic organisation

Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) is a diverse government agency that touches most New Zealanders without them knowing it.

When you buy, sell or develop a property, you and your bank rely on LINZ to make sure the property's title is clear and it has been surveyed accurately.

LINZ is in charge of all New Zealand's maps and charts so you don't get lost, on land as well as on the water.  Knowing where things and people are is also important when government and the private sector make decisions about New Zealand's development.  We are also involved in decisions about who from overseas can buy New Zealand land and business, through the Overseas Investment Office.

LINZ's diversity and behind the scenes role is a communications challenge.

We are looking for an internal communications account manager to work closely with the others in the Strategic Communications and Digital Services Team to support the business.

You'll have significant experience in internal communications, providing strategic and tactical advice and guidance at a senior level.

This role involves championing and driving our internal communications and helping shape our culture. You'll work closely with an engaged and dynamic leadership team and with HR colleagues.

In return for your commitment to us, we will invest in your development and ensure you have work-life balance.

This is a fantastic role which will allow you to be involved in challenging and politically visible work that impacts positively on New Zealand's future.

Click on the ‘Apply online' button below in order to be directed to our on-line careers website.  You may view a position description at this site, as well as complete the on-line application, and upload a CV and cover letter.  We are looking for evidence of how you meet each of the key selection criteria.

For further information on this role please contact Michelle Veisaku on

Applications close at 5.00pm on Sunday 28 January 2018.
