We have an opening for two permanent Senior Developers - Mātanga Matihiko Matua/Senior Digital Specialist – Development to join us. You will use agile methodology to develop, implement, deploy, and support modern software solutions.
The Vault squad in the Digital Delivery group, develop and support crucial enterprise applications for the organisation as well as many smaller bespoke applications ready to be rebuilt.
The squad are part of an agile release train operating under Scaled Agile, they are a closeknit team that share the workload, have fun and are growing to deliver on a multi-year modernisation of our applications and infrastructure to public cloud.
Broad experience in cloud platforms - we have two roles looking for a specialist in each public cloud technology.
Consolidating existing applications into more standardized products. Working with applications used across the organization.
Looking for new ways of working and investigating solutions using a range of tools including low code tools.
He pūkenga tou - Skills & Experience
- Full stack development with experience in modern development methods
- ReactJS and Typescript or similar
- Net experience,
- IAC and CI/CD experience Ideally Terraform and CDK
- Experience in common tool chain elements such GitHub Actions
- Enterprise development including domain modelling and microservices
- Building web applications and APIs using design standards, patterns, and best practices (e.g., REST, OpenAPI)
- Source control using git and GitHub
- Strong application design skills
- Containerization using Docker
- Strong Database experience across multiple database platforms and data lakes
- Native AWS and/or Azure design and development experience
With some of the following skills being advantageous
- Experience in common tool chain elements such GitHub Actions
- Experience of low code tools i.e. MS Power Platform, Appian, Pega
- Playwright to create E2E testing
- Storybook testing
