Job Description

  • Two exciting positions available
  • LINZ employees are highly engaged and we have a supportive working environment
  • Contribute as a member of the LINZ Administrative Network

We have two exciting Coordinator positions within Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) where you will be responsible for providing administrative support across your local team and you will actively contribute within the LINZ Administration Network.

As a successful Coordinator or Administrator you will work across your group to provide seamless administrative support to managers and their teams.  You will be a pro-active, confident, organised and self managing individual who has an interest in supporting some of our critical functions within LINZ. You will also be a problem solver who has a passion for helping others and the ability to juggle multiple demands.

Your day to day tasks will be varied and may involve diary and email management, support for key function specific processes, organising meetings and agendas, travel management, preparation of papers and presentations as well as assisting with people processes, such as recruitment and induction.

From a wider perspective you will be an active member of the LINZ Administration Network where you will work with other Coordinators and Administrators across LINZ to improve processes, systems and practices so they are more streamlined and efficient. You will be known as that professional that everyone goes to as they know you get things done.

It goes without saying your communications skills and the ability to build strong working relationships will be just some of your key strengths.  Attention to detail along with a good understanding of the full Microsoft suite will also feature in your core skills.  You will also be comfortable learning new systems and process because here at LINZ we will have some that are very specific to us.

LINZ has a highly engaged culture and we pride ourselves in being inclusive and supportive of personal development.  Come and join us and help us to work effectively together.

Apply online and submit your CV and cover letter outlining your skills and experience for this role.  We are looking for evidence of how you meet each of the competencies outlined in the position description.

If you have any questions please contact Louise Pierce, Senior Talent Sourcing Advisor  lpierce@linz.govt.nz.

Applications close at 5:00pm on Thursday 24 January 2019.
