Further information about each of these teams and their key projects is attached in the Team Profiles summary, along with a full position description and a summary of what our branch does.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for people with experience of applying policy principles in a number of projects, strong stakeholder management and communications skills, a track record of problem solving and formulating high quality advice, particularly in highly ambiguous situations.  You are;

  • Naturally curious and like to question the status quo.

  • Comfortable working across multiple policy projects.
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative way.

We are looking for Principal, Senior and Policy Advisors

As a Policy Advisor, you will bring excellent analytical skills with the ability to provide clear, accurate, well-reasoned policy advice that is targeted to the audience by using your strong written and oral communication skills.  You will take ownership and action on challenges, working collaboratively with others.  You are all about making a positive contribution to the team.

As a Senior Advisor, you'll need to love an intellectual challenge and won't be afraid of ambiguity. You are an experienced policy professional who can think big can deliver tangible results.  Furthermore, you are a superb communicator with influencing skills to work collaboratively across various groups and you bring a solid understanding of legislative frameworks and processes, as well as a strong understanding of the wider political environment and Ministerial priorities.

As a Principal, you bring sophisticated interpersonal and communication skills allowing you to influence critical stakeholders and drive change.  You have demonstrated experience in designing and leading a strategy review and development cycle.

As a truly experienced Policy professional, you have a passion and ability for developing the capability and expertise of others through coaching, mentoring and the provision of up to date frameworks, concepts, knowledge and best practice.
