Tupu Tai Pasifika Policy Internship Programme

The Tupu Tai programme is designed to promote, celebrate and value diverse Pasifika knowledge.  This is your chance to experience working in a policy team and see first-hand how you can work to improve the lives of our Pacific communities and all of New Zealand.  Policies are principles, rules, and guidelines that underpin advice given to Ministers to help them make decisions for all New Zealanders.

Apply for the Tupu Tai policy internship today!

  • Paid 11 week summer internship
  • Internship period: 18 November 2019 – 31 January 2020
  • Mostly Wellington based, with a couple of places in Auckland

In 2018 internship placements were offered across fifteen different government agencies, including, the Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment (MBIE), Treasury, State Services Commission, Ministry for the Environment, Oranga Tamariki, Ministry of Defence, Commerce Commission, Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
