Job Description

We're looking for a Senior Portfolio Manager to be a key lead in the design and implementation of the future models of care for home and community support services, a key priority in the Healthy Ageing Strategy to join the Healthy Ageing team.  In this role you will use strong co-design and project management approaches with the wider sector to deliver on this strategic priority.  This role offers variety and opportunities to make a real difference to the way future services are designed, planned and implemented for older people.  To achieve this you will be skilled at building strong collaborative working relationships as part of a committed team.  

To excel in this role you will have:

 

  • Sound knowledge and experience of health services design, planning, funding and delivery.

  • Knowledge of government structures, processes and legislative requirements and how these impact on the work in the health sector.

  • Demonstrated experience in excellent written and oral communication, and ability to talk about complex issues clearly to a range of audiences and stakeholders.

  • Well-developed relationship management skills and substantial experience in working with and influencing a range of internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to work credibly in all cultural contexts.

  • Hold a relevant tertiary qualification at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level that relates to health
