Job Description

  • x2 Business Advisor roles
  • Fixed term until 30 June 2019

The focus of this role is to provide high quality advice and support to managers and senior staff involved in the Pay Equity programme including staff from Non-Government Organisations, District Health Boards, and consultants in order to fulfil the Group's work commitments.

The reason for vacancy is due to the need to implement the Care and Support Workers (Pay Equity) Settlement Act 2017 and the recent addition of mental health care and support workers to the settlement.

To be successful in this role you will have a genuine commitment to providing a quality service to all customers, an ability to develop solutions to complex problems, excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information, and an intermediate level knowledge and experience of Contract Management and a good head for numbers. Preferably you will have in depth knowledge of the Pay Equity settlement.

In return for your experience we can offer an opportunity to use your talents on an exciting and important project.

For further information about this role please contact Mark Powell, Manager Contract Support, on 04 496-2384.

To apply for this position provide your current Curriculum Vitae and a covering letter outlining your background and your interest in the role.  We only accept applications via the Ministry of Health careers page.
