Audit & Compliance is a specialised team responsible for Counter-fraud, Audit and Risk Management activities relating to over $10 billion of annual payments to health providers. We are seeking an experienced Senior Investigator to join our Auckland based investigative team. The investigations group has staff located in Auckland, and Christchurch.
Te whainga poto o tēnei tūranga – What is the purpose of this position?:
As a senior Investigator you will be responsible for advising, mentoring and coaching investigative staff whilst managing the more complex and serious investigations assigned to the Auckland office. Some domestic travel is required as part of this role.
Ngā Pūkenga me ngā Wheako – Skills & Experience:
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Extensive experience managing complex investigations through to prosecution;
- Extensive knowledge of criminal fraud law and other statutory requirements;
- A good understanding of the health sector environment and issues relating to funding and performance;
- Strong communications skills and the ability to promote good relationships
- Police Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) experience or similar investigative training.

Salary Circa: $104,934
