Principal Advisor, System Transformation Disability at Ministry of Health, Wellington

- Be part of the biggest system transformation of the disability sector in thirty years
- Provide leadership across the Disability Directorate to ensure the disability system is responsive to disabled people and their whānau
- Wellington based, Fulltime fixed term role to 30 June 2022.

This is an existing role that is responsible for delivery of the Capacity and Capability Development workstream of the System Transformation Programme. There is a procurement focus to the role, to enable disabled people's story-telling and a refresh of the Enabling Good Lives website.
It is an exciting time to work in the disability space due to the establishment of the new Ministry for Disabled People, a complementary piece of work.

Te whainga poto o tēnei tūranga – What is the purpose of this position?
The Principal Advisor provides leadership across the System Transformation programme to ensure the disability system is responsive to disabled people and their whānau. You will be a key member of a busy programme team in full flight of delivery, and bring senior technical expertise and advice to deliver on key outcomes prior to June 2022.

You will need to be able to navigate complexity and ambiguity to deliver outcomes.
Experience in community consultation is required, as well as governance and procurement/ contract management expertise.
