Ko ake mahi - What you'll do
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to provide comprehensive support to the Deputy Director-General and play a key role in the Senior Leadership Team. In this critical position, you will lead the delivery of the Office of the Deputy Director-General function while managing the development and maintenance of the Directorate's annual business plan. You will take ownership of Directorate-wide processes, procedures, tools, and templates, ensuring efficient coordination of reporting requirements and input to Ministry planning and reporting.
Additionally, you will oversee Directorate submissions to broader Ministry projects and represent the Directorate in cross-business collaborations, while addressing day-to-day challenges and leading initiatives to drive positive change and improvement.
This is a fixed term position, provide maternity leave cover for 12 months, until May 2026.
