Ko ake mahi - What you'll do
The focus of the Health Research System Innovation team is on leading and contributing to strategic and future-focused initiatives that support an evidence-informed health system, guided by the New Zealand Health Research Strategy (2017-2027).
In this role you will provide strategic leadership to help shape the environment for clinical trials in Aotearoa at a system level, in collaboration with other groups and organisations.

- A mix of clinical research and central government experience, so you can apply your expertise while navigating the machinery of government
- A reputation as a strategic, systems thinker who builds and sustains collaborative relationships across the health sector
- A passion for improving health services through clinical trials and research.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to tailor complex messages to a range of audiences, including Ministers
- Proven organisational skills with the ability to think ahead, use initiative, establish priorities and meet deadlines whilst preserving high levels of accuracy and confidentiality
