Principal Advisor, Operations Support, National Service Delivery

We are looking for a multi-skilled Principal Advisor to provide critical support and advice to the Group Manager, National Service Delivery (NSD) and the wider group leadership team. Your role will be to support the Group Manager and the leadership team with high quality advice, to drive and monitor the group's work programme as well as support delivery of minister priorities, the flow of information and reporting into and out of the NSD team. 

The NSD team is made up of six teams that are responsible for national service delivery. The Operations Support team is responsible for official and ministerial correspondence, annual reporting and planning, business analytics, group support and improvement.

To be successful in the role you will be smart, flexible, resourceful and resilient.  You will have a good understanding of Government reporting processes and requirements, monitoring and supporting the delivery of projects and the ability to think operationally and strategically. You will be a strong communicator, with excellent written skills. The ability to build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships and effective networks across and within organisations is essential. 

A knowledge and understanding of the nature of the work activities undertaken by the group such as support to service delivery, operational policy and process improvement, implementing project changes and machinery of government is essential.

The salary band is $84,478 - $114,293
