Policy Advisors (LEVEL 1)

National Office – Wellington

We are looking for people with strong analytical and problem solving skills to join the Ministry of Justice as Policy Advisors (Level 1). You will need to be an excellent communicator who can build strong working relationships. About the team and the role

The Policy Group is responsible for the provision of all policy-related services to the government, providing well-researched advice on a range of justice related issues. The Group has four business units: Criminal Justice, Courts and Justice Services, Civil and Constitutional and the Post Settlement Commitments Unit. We offer a stimulating and intellectually rewarding environment.

Skills and experience

• have a relevant qualification at bachelor level or higher

• find complex problems interesting, and have a knack for solving them

• are an excellent communicator who can build strong working relationships

• learn quickly and are enthusiastic about upskilling.

The salary range is $47,360 - 64,441.
