Advisory Team Member - Maori Land Court, Hamilton


This role is responsible for providing education, information and advice about Māori Land Court practice and procedure, ownership, use and management of Māori land.

The Advisory Team Member will organise and provide information through workshops, clinics, hui and process enquiries received over the counter. The Advisory team actively contributes to and manages stakeholder relationships through the provision of pre-application meetings, facilitation and mediation services.

This is a pivotal role in the Hamilton Maori Land Court. You will have lots of challenges and in return we will provide you with a very satisfying and interesting career.  While your primary role involves being the “Face of the Maori Land Court” and being involved face to face with our customers, there is also an opportunity to be trained in Records Management, Court Hearings and Case Management.

Excellent communication skills is a requirement to this role in addition to; an understanding of Tikanga Maori, impressive organisational skills, attention to detail and excellent computer skills.

A clean full driver's licence is essential.
