Te āhuatunga a te tūranga/About the Role
This is a key support role contributing directly to the effectiveness of the Deputy Secretary and is responsible for providing high-level secretarial and logistical services. This role requires excellent solution-focused administration and organisational skills. The Executive Assistant is responsible for projecting a professional and helpful image to all internal and external parties.
He pūkenga tou/Skills and Experience
You are a highly motivated professional with proven experience working in a support role. With your excellent time management and organisational skills, you prioritise and manage your workload and can respond to changing needs and priorities. You keep one step ahead, anticipate and manage or escalate issues early. As a result, your Deputy Secretary will always be well-briefed, prepared and organised.
A key success factor will be your ability to develop and maintain effective relationships and communicate on various levels with a wide range of people within and outside the Ministry.
If you have a can-do attitude, sound written and verbal communication skills and excellent attention to detail then we would like to hear from you. Salary Range: The appointing salary for this role will be between $54,689 to $77,207 based on skills and experience.
