Te Haeata/The Opportunity
Te Puna Aonui is seeking a dedicated Senior Advisor for six months, Strategy, Investment & Performance to join a new multi-disciplinary and flexible team. In this role, you will work through strong relationships to influence others and build support for shared, collective advice to the Government on strategy, performance, investment, and implementation aimed at eliminating family violence and sexual violence (FVSV). You will develop and provide advice for Ministers and leaders across Te Puna Aonui agencies, identifying opportunities to address complex challenges within shared systems.
This role will support the business unit to develop its performance, monitoring and reporting approaching. Working in the Strategy, Investment and Performance function you will support the team to establish its framework and supporting systems and process to enable robust performance management. This will include implementing the reporting schedule, preparing reporting tools, and establishing information and evidence gathering systems for effective monitoring. You will work closely with the Outcomes and Insights team; project leads and agencies to understand their contribution to the performance management approach.
Ō pūkenga/Skills and Experience
Experience of developing and implementing performance management frameworks including a range of performance tools
A key eye for detail, interpretation of data and sound analytical skills
Ability to understand and develop appropriate performance metrics and reporting mechanisms.
Preparation of monitoring and reporting information including dashboards, memos, briefings, reports.
Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders particularly with regard to providing advice to develop appropriate performance metrics and gathering information in support of performance reporting.
Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise critical activities.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $110,766 and $143,338 based on skills and experience.
