Te Haeata/The Opportunity
- As the Senior Advisor for the Te Au Reka programme, you will lead the development and delivery of the learning approach that will equip our diverse learner groups—ranging from OSD staff, judiciary, and legal professionals to third-party providers and participants—with the knowledge and skills necessary to engage with our new digital solution.
- You will oversee the planning, scoping, design, and delivery of sustainable learning pathways, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and effectiveness. Your role is critical in empowering learners and aligning learning solutions with the Ministry's strategic goals.
- You will collaborate with the Te Au Reka Change and Process teams, operational groups, and key stakeholders including justice partners to develop the learning approach. You will report into the Learning Lead for Te Au Reka.
This role requires someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced project environment. You must be organised, collaborative, and adaptable, with the ability to contribute immediately to the success of this large-scale transformation. If you bring strong experience in learning and development, with a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive impactful results, this is the role for you.
Ō pūkenga/Skills and Experience
To be successful in this position you will have:
- Over 5 years of experience in learning and development, particularly within large-scale transformation or digital initiatives.
- Expertise in adult learning principles and an up-to-date understanding of best practices, trends, and innovations in Learning and Development, with a proven ability to develop a learning approach and implement learning solutions that achieve tangible outcomes.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong project management experience, including the ability to deliver learning initiatives on time, within budget, and to a high standard in a busy project environment.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $97,208 and $125,683 based on skills and experience.
