Technical Specialist - High Court Wellington
Te Haeata/The Opportunity
As the Technical Specialist you will support Court Registry Officers with training, providing expert technical assistance with difficult issues that arise and assist in the management of more complex cases. You will facilitate the effective management of processes within the registry team to ensure timely disposition, quality service to case parties including the legal profession.

To be successful in the role, you will need to be self-motivated, solutions -focused, and possess the confidence and resilience to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
- Technical Expertise - In all High Court processes and an in-depth knowledge of these.
- Detail-orientated and observant – the court has many different processes, and case information that requires a high level of accuracy.
- Self-aware – our participants are unique, and you will be confident working, individually and with the team, across various situations.
- Able to multi-task – some of our processes are repetitive, so you will be able to manage conflicting priorities and move from one task to another quickly.
- Willing to learn – legislation and court processes are always changing, and you will need to be adaptable in implementing changes.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The remuneration band for this role is $73,634 to $100,846 – the appointing salary will be based on skills and experience.
